Curacautin, Chile was one of the three forest sites in the world dual certified by both FSC® and Fairtrade. This pilot project was to offer a promise to help alleviate poverty through a sustainable income, restore forest rights and improve forest biodiversity. This project has ended but project Fairwood has emerged from this and promises a long-term movement going forward.
